Dogmen roam the streets of New York City in the twilight hours of the evening. Sam, one of these wanderers, comes across an old friend, Jim, during his ramblings. As they catch up after a five-year separation, Sam realizes more and more how dissatisfied he has become with his life. Jim’s questions and news of home only make matters worse as Sam discusses his dislike for his wife, his wife’s dog, and his tiny apartment. He walks Jim to the ferry, where he makes an unexpected decision. |
