| | | | Synopsis | | This farce parody of the Grimm fairy tale finds Red coming upon that age, bored with her life, sassing adults, longing to break free. When none of the usual parental fixes works, her family devises a plot to teach her respect. Granny, the Huntsman, the Wolf and the woodland flora are all in on it. Because the Wolf, the lead player in their plan, has a hard time keeping his vulpine instincts separate from his stage ambitions, a mishap occurs. There follows a riotous climax involving a raging tantrum, misplaced stage blood, a daring but pointless last-minute rescue, a magus with an owl on his shoulder and an adolescent girl with a changed attitude. |
