| | PRODUCTIONS | | | | | Synopsis | | Sixteen year-old Tyrese, is proud to be a running back for his high school football team. He and his friend, Ryan, the team quarterback, have dreams of playing college ball. However, Tyrese is worried because he has gotten into trouble in the past, and if he gets into trouble again, his chances of receiving a football scholarship will be ruined. Tyrese's fears of more trouble are valid. His old friend, Chan, devises a plan involving illegal activity that includes Tyrese. When Tyrese tries to explain the importance of staying on the straight path and his goals for college, it falls on deaf ears. Chan spends much time and energy convincing and pleading with Tyrese to join him in his master plan. Finally yet reluctantly, Tyrese agrees to the plan. However, just as they set out for their destination, Ryan unexpectedly arrives on the scene. As a result, Tyrese, who believes in loyalty, must decide if he is willing to risk a life full of promise, in order to appease his friends. |
