| | PRODUCTIONS | | | | | Synopsis | | Tim, a shy man enters a church service right as the greeting begins the meditation. All eyes are closed and in deep thought, except of course, for Tim, whose eyes are wide open. Unfamiliar with the tradition, Tim takes everything the flamboyant Southern minister says literally, “taking freely from the universe” from fellow churchgoers’ wallets and purses until the end of the meditation when the minister reminds everyone they have to pay everything back in double. Tim frantically tries to return all the loot he’s gathered and gets everyone’s wallets mixed up. Churchgoers open theirs eyes to suspect their loving neighbors are thieves as Tim slithers out of church. |
