Synopsis
A group of plays based on short stories by Hector Hugh Munro (18 December 1870 – 13 November 1916), better known by the pen name Saki, who was a British writer that pulled no punches in satirizing society and culture. Saki is considered a master of the short story and is often compared to O. Henry and Dorothy Parker. His tales feature delicately drawn characters and finely judged narratives. As short plays, you are sure to find them as witty and enlightening today as they were to Edwardian society.

A wet, tired and hungry young man appears at the door one rainy night. Jonathan, the elderly servant with failing eyes and hearing, recognizes him as Master Tom who left in disgrace a few years before. The details of Tom’s offense are cloudy. A surprise ending, reveals most, but not all, of the truth to the audience.
