Author's Notes:
Have you ever heard so much about Britney, or Beyonce, or Brad or Jen or whoever and you just can''t stand it any longer? then you turn to the front page, and THERE THEY ARE AGAIN!! Sometimes in our world, the most trivial thing coming out of a celebrity''s mouth is bigger news than... well... the bigger news. And what do we do, after all this worship, other than tear ''em apart limb by limb. the play is an expansion of the character created in Leave Bridget Alone. All she wants to be is a regular girl. Well, a regular girl ... with money .... that the press follows around endlessly. This play makes fun of all that, the fame people get that they don''t necessarily deserve, plus the fame all the entourage gets by association. Find some humor in how we elevate what''s the most shallow in our society, and you too might be the next celeb on stage!

A timely parody that looks at our fascination with celebrity and flips it on its ear. Very flexible cast, fast-paced action, and an inventive script make this a great show.

A play pulled right out of today's headlines...if you're reading Variety, that is.

Synopsis
Smile for the camera! Bridget: A Day in the Life takes us on a personal journey with teen singing sensation Bridget Spoils, as this TV reality spoof documents her every move from the time she wakes up until the time...well, the time she's driven nuts by the prying, jealous eyes of the media, her family, and her adoring-yet-annoying fans. At the age of 16, Bridget Spoils has captured the hearts of teen girls everywhere with her hits "Oh Baby," "Oh Baby Baby," and "Baby Baby Baby." Into her life are thrown photo shoots, tabloid stories, a personal entourage, and a boyfriend who just doesn't measure up. All Bridget really wants is a hamburger from the local Wackyburger. But watch out...the paparazzi are closing in, and the media circus has just begun!
